As tempting as Hot August Nights was, Natalie packed her bags and flew to San Jose to be with The Hutchinson’s for the weekend, leaving any vestiges of Reno behind.

I finally got to go see Natalia! We had such a great day visiting and me holding the baby. It’s surreal that my best friend is a mother now, and a darn good one at that. Patrick and I are so excited that our children will grow up together very close in age, and we’re grateful to have such amazing friends to share our lives with. Now all we need to do is come up with a roller derby name for Natalia ;-)

This weekend we had my old neighbors Norm and Sandy over so Winston could play with his pal Gracie. Who knew a soccer match was going to break out in our back yard.
